१३ जुलै, १९५३ रोजी जळगाव येथे इंडियन रेडक्रॉस सोसायटी जिल्हा शाखा, जळगावची स्थापना झाली. या संस्थेचे दिल्लीत मुख्य कार्यालय असून राष्ट्रीय पातळीवर भारताचे महामहीम राष्ट्रपती, राज्य पातळीवर महाराष्ट्राचे राज्यपाल आणि जिल्हा पातळीवर जिल्ह्याचे जिल्हाधिकारी पदसिद्ध अध्यक्ष असतात.याचाच एक महत्त्वपूर्ण भाग म्हणजे इंडियन रेडक्रॉस सोसायटी जिल्हा शाखा जळगाव. ही आंतरराष्ट्रीय मानवतावादी सेवाभावी दृष्टीकोणातून अव्याहतपणे कार्यरत असून लोकाभिमुख सेवा कार्य करण्याच्या उद्देशातून कार्य करीत आहे.

- प्रत्येक रक्तदात्याचा गौरव पत्र देऊन सन्मान
- प्रत्येक रक्तदाताच्या रु.५० हजाराचा अपघाती विमा संरक्षण
- स्वेच्छा रक्तदान करणाऱ्या पुरुष रक्तदात्यास रुपये ३००/- चे सवलत कार्ड.
- महिला सक्षमीकरणाचा एक भाग म्हणून महिला रक्तदात्यास ४००/- रुपयांची सेवाशुल्कात सवलत.
- रक्तदान करणाऱ्या प्रत्येक विद्यार्थ्याला क.ब.चौ.उ.म.वि. च्या अध्यादेशानुसार २ अतिरिक्त गुण.
- स्वतःसाठी रक्त पिशवी लागत असल्यास स्वतःच्या रक्तदाता प्राधान्य कार्डवर विनामूल्य रक्तपिशवी दिली जाते.
